Sensitive access and security information is handled separately from general household intake and everyday task notes.

How time works: membership service time is tracked in 15-minute increments. Related actions completed within the same active work session are tracked together. Additional membership time is only used with client approval and is billed at the rate shown for that tier.

Simple time trackingService time is tracked in 15-minute increments so usage stays clear and easy to understand.
Monthly billingRecurring memberships are billed monthly in advance. Approved extra time is billed at the additional-time rate for the client’s membership tier.
RolloverUnused membership time may roll forward for one additional month, up to 25% of the monthly package.
Membership changesRecurring clients provide 14 days' notice before renewal to cancel recurring service.
Reserved timeReserved appointments or task blocks require 24 hours' notice for cancellation or rescheduling.
Outside costsPurchases, products, tickets and third-party/vendor invoices are separate and approved before spending.
Service areaCalgary-based. Travel or mileage outside the regular service area may be billed separately when agreed in advance.

A few things people usually want to know first.
Is Kin & Key a cleaning or handyman company?
No. Kin & Key is home management and personal concierge support. We can coordinate cleaners, trades and specialty providers, be present for approved appointments, and manage the follow-through. Licensed or specialty work is performed and billed by the appropriate third-party provider.
Can I use my own vendors?
Absolutely. If you already have people you trust, we can coordinate with them. If you need options, Kin & Key can research and source providers for your approval.
How do membership hours work?
Your monthly hours can be used across agreed Kin & Key services rather than being locked into one category. Time is tracked in 15-minute increments. Any work beyond your included hours is only added with your approval and is billed at the additional-time rate for the client’s membership tier.
What does 15-minute time tracking actually mean?
Kin & Key tracks active service time in 15-minute increments. Related actions completed during the same work session are grouped together, rather than treating every quick email, call or update as a separate billable event. The goal is clear, practical time tracking — not nickel-and-diming.
Can Kin & Key spend money on my behalf?
Only within the approval rules you establish during onboarding. You can set limits for everyday purchases and decide when you want explicit approval before a booking, purchase or vendor commitment is made.
What happens if I do not use all my hours?
Unused recurring membership hours can roll forward for one additional month, up to 25% of your monthly package. This gives you some flexibility without turning the membership into an unlimited bank of hours.
Do I have to commit to a membership?
No. On-Demand Concierge is available at $85 per hour for one-time needs and projects, with a 90-minute minimum for stand-alone in-person requests. Memberships are for households that want ongoing continuity and a go-to person who already knows how they like things handled.
How are purchases and outside costs handled?
Products, tickets, supplies and third-party vendor invoices are separate from Kin & Key service time. Spending and approval preferences are established during onboarding so you stay in control of outside costs.
Where does Kin & Key serve?
Kin & Key is Calgary-based. Nearby communities and travel outside the regular service area can be arranged when practical, with any added travel or mileage agreed in advance.
